Welcome to Beamer’s Holiday Beat, Bronner’s enewsletter
for everyone who shares my passion for Christmas, which is only 201 days away!
New items have begun arriving this spring. Bronner’s receiving department will be bursting at the seams as new product arrival peaks in July and exciting, new items quickly make their way into the store.
Wonder what’s going to be hot this fall?
Bronner’s new, exclusive glass ornaments for 2011 will include form ornaments of these countries: the United States, Australia, France, Scotland, Greece, Germany and Poland. Our 2011 exclusive ornament, designed by Connie Larsen, will feature a partridge in a pear tree and be available in both form and round ornaments.
LED lights continue to be popular. More color-changing LED lights will be available this year than ever before. LED novelty light sets are starting to surface for 2011.
Department 56 is releasing two new villages this year: the Peanuts Village and Grinch Village. Village backgrounds will also be available for your Department 56 Christmas and Halloween villages. Dean Griff, creator of Charming Tails, has created a new, collectible cat line, Charming Pursonalities. New Enesco figurines star the ever-popular Mickey and Minnie Mouse in various dance poses.
Popular colors for 2011 are red, apple green, purple and gold. Top trends include plaids, retro/vintage, glam/glitz, gingerbread, and red with apple green.

Summer Blooms in Frankenmuth
Willkommen to Frankenmuth in Bloom. Our streets blush with the colors of spring and summer, and now is the time to enjoy our charming curb appeal. Every inch of our town is artfully landscaped with bright seasonal flowers, lilacs, evergreens and blossoming trees. In fact, our streetscape has been nationally recognized as an America in Bloom champion for our outstanding landscaping, floral displays and parks.

Over this past winter, Frankenmuth’s horticulturist sketched out the landscape design, working closely with regional growers to find exciting new varieties of flowers as well as traditional favorites. Hundreds of flats of flowers and more than 2000 individual pots are planted by the city’s Clean Team in May. In addition, 400 locally grown hanging baskets pepper the street’s quilt of colors in hues of yellow, red, purple, pink, blue and green.

We welcome you to visit Frankenmuth through all the seasons. But we are especially excited to share our beautiful blooms with you this summer. To see more or to sign up to receive Frankenmuth’s e-newsletter, visit http://www.frankenmuth.org.

Symbol
of the Fish
The letters of the Greek word for fish, Ichthus, are the first letters of the Greek phrase for “Jesus Christ, God’s Son, Savior.” Accordingly, people use a fish symbol to distinguish themselves as Christians. Fish represent fertility and renewal of life. Just as fish are born in water, Christians are born in the water of baptism through Jesus, and He wishes all of us to be “fishers of men.”
