'Tis the Season
Welcome to Beamer’s Holiday Beat, Bronner’s enewsletter for everyone who shares my passion for Christmas. (Did you know there are only 290 days until Christmas!)

Bronner’s buyers have returned from the winter trade shows and are busy placing orders for beautiful new products to fill your decorating and gift-giving needs. Work on Bronner’s exclusive 2011 partridge-in-a-pear-tree form ornament continues, and the final sample, under production in Poland, is nearly complete. View the round annual ornament, already available, here.

Bronner’s 2011/2012 catalog, Bronner’s Christmas Favorites, is under construction. In addition to finalizing orders for all items that will appear in the new publication, the catalog team is also designing striking new covers.

Daylight-savings time begins on Sunday, March 13, and the spring equinox arrives on Saturday, March 20. It is said that March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb. We look forward to warm spring breezes and the joyous celebration of the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on April 24. Blessed Easter and Happy Spring to you all!

Thank you for inviting me into your home. You’re welcome at my home, www.bronners.com or 25 Christmas Lane in Frankenmuth, all year long!

Yule Go Down in History

Symbol of the Shamrock

The shamrock, one of the most widely recognized symbols of Ireland, has been considered good luck since the earliest of times. Legend says St. Patrick used the shamrock to teach pagans the doctrine of the Holy Trinity. Just as three leaves make up one shamrock, three persons (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) are in one God.

Symbol card is included.

Frankenmuth presents Osterbrunnen an Easter Celebration
April 8, 2011 - May 8, 2011
Once a year in the area of Franconia Germany one will find many wells, trees, buildings and fountains richly decorated with colored Easter eggs, pine-branch garland and spring flowers. This tradition of decorating Easter Fountains in Germany is over 200 years old and many cities and villages in Franconia Germany still follow this tradition. Since Franconia is the area from which the early settlers originated; we thought it appropriate to mirror the Osterbrunnen tradition in our city.

Bible Verse

And the Lord shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.
~Isaiah 58:11
