Welcome to “Beamer’s Holiday Beat,” Bronner’s e-newsletter for everyone who shares Wally Bronner’s and my passion for Christmas. (Wally asked me to tell you there are only 103 days until Christmas!)

Been wondering what’s going to be hot this fall? Tree decorations in pastels with plenty of tulle and ribbon will be popular. Apple green with red is a trendy, 2005 color combination. Look for a large variety of whimsical, fantasy-themed product to be available. Prelit trees will continue to be strong sellers as well as all kinds of personalized products. The selection of Airblown™ inflatables continues to grow, including a 9-foot Holy Family and stable for 2005.

Pet-themed ornaments are expected to be very popular, especially dog breeds. Bronner’s is the exclusive retailer for Laser Light Ornaments. You can now have your photo taken at Bronner’s and lasered onto a glass ornament while you wait.
I really enjoy hearing from you so please take time to answer my survey question about when you would most likely visit Bronner’s and Frankenmuth, Michigan. Responses will appear in survey form in the next quarterly e-newsletter.

Thank you for inviting me into your home. You’re welcome at my home, www.bronners.com or 25 Christmas Lane in Frankenmuth, all year long!

Join us in giving thanks this fall with a beautiful display of autumn candles, ornaments, figurines, and more.

The Tradition of the Chocolate Chip Cookie
The chocolate chip cookie was inadvertently created in 1930 by Ruth Graves Wakefield at the Toll House Inn in Whitman, Massachusetts. Lacking bakers chocolate for her cookie recipe, she substituted a chopped semi-sweet chocolate bar, expecting it to melt into the batter during baking. The chocolate cookie did not melt, and the cookie became an instant American classic. Ruth received a lifetime supply of chocolate for the rights to publish the recipe.

A Word from Santa

Calling All Cookbook Enthusiasts
Tie on your apron and preheat the oven! Bronner’s staff cookbook, “Bronner’s Flavorful Favorites,” arrived in late July and is available online and in our Frankenmuth store.

This new cookbook features over 400 favorite recipes submitted by Bronner's staff. Knowing how much we love each other's treats, a staff member suggested we develop a Bronner's cookbook. A group of staff members worked on collecting recipes from co-workers and researching cookbook printers. Bronner's graphics staff did the illustrations, design and layout. The three-ring binder cookbook was printed in the U.S.A. and is 7" x 9.25" with a vinyl padded cover. It's a perfect gift for the cooks on your Christmas list.

Bronner’s cookbook is sure to have your mouth watering with all of its tasty treats! We hope some of our favorites will become some of your favorites.
